We purchased cookies that had mold on them. When we returned said item, the cashier was shockingly nonplussed. "That happens." No apology. No offer to get management. Nothing. We discarded the other items for fear of the same lack of quality without getting our money refunded. I should. I don't know if I will shop there again. They are supposed to represent a higher level of quality. I'm sorely disappointed. I hope to hear from someone.

We stopped by here on Monday 3/21 and I was thrilled to see they had Italian fig cookies as well as lemon cookies. We purchased packages of both and some praline pecans. However, when we opened the lemon cookies EVERY SINGLE ONE was covered in white mold. It was difficult to see through the package because of the icing smears on the plastic but the cookies literally looked like they all grew hair. Luckily we were still in the parking lot, so I took them straight back which is where the troubling thing occurred. I did get my money refunded but it's what the clerk said that terrified me about the food quality and quality control at this place. I mentioned the issue, showed him the cookies, and he said "yeah they're moldy it looks like, that happens" um...what? Why would you have items with mold regularly present on your shelves unless you were holding some kind of Science class? I was so disgusted I was afraid to eat the fig cookies or the pecans.

My coworkers and I purchase lunch and snack items here practically daily. The people working within Wagon Wheel are thoughtful and ask about our work, the foods we're enjoying, and how we are personally doing. They're pleasant people for sure! The cost is also amazing because they are fresh and homemade items without over-charging.
