It’s a beautiful trail, lots of shade, lots of parking, and only free ppl roaming around, 3 trail options, I did all 3, and enjoyed the strategically placed sitting benches, peppered around the trail,

One of those nuggets of New York. Short, easy trails. Did the red trail along the ridge to a waterfall, then the white trail going back which was wound intimately along the Hudson river. Be warned: there will be mud, and easy scrambles on the white. Parking is limited so try to get there early, or late.

A great hiking experience at Saugerties, NY Staying connected with nature is an instinct that all humans have. Falling Waters Preserve is a great experience to connect with nature. This is a quick hike for the family or for a solo traveller.

A great trail for some outdoor exercise and/or take a small lunch to have a bite next to the peaceful falling water. I’ve been down all pathways the red trail goes to the small falls and the others have more Hudson river views! The red and white trail run into one another so you can take a different path back. Free parking lot and benches for rests. I don’t suggest strollers because it’s flat enough but very bumpy. Pet welcome with leash too! Photos of upper red trail!
