man at counter was gruff. scolded us for putting plants on the counter by cash register, not using a cart (i had 2 plants), said we parked in the wrong spot then sold us $40 in pies (2) that we discovered later were moldy. won't be back.

We stopped in today, based on the good reviews. There were alot of pumpkins to choose from. That's where the good ended for us. We walked inside, it smelled like pies baking. I said how good it smelled and got a gruff reply "Yeah, they're baking something " Nowhere in sight was anything fresh baked, etc, as the photos showed. My mom asked the gruff man a price on a pumpkin. After he said 99 cents a pound, he went in to a rant about minimum wage, no one wants to work picking and cleaning pumpkins, etc.. went on a bit too long. My mom said "I know" and he said "That's the problem. You all say I know and do nothing" He went on to rant that YOU ALL NEED TO WRITE LETTERS TO THE GOVERNMENT! Dude, we were here to buy pie and pumpkins. No one asked how much you pay employees. She asked a price of a pumpkin. You lost some customers, not just today, but in the future. Be kind..

We have been stopping here for years for simple reasons: fresh vegetables, great fruits, beautiful plants, friendliest service. And if you are lucky, he will have pickled beets, peppers, bread and butter pickles and perfect jams, all home made. Worth the drive!!

Tomatoes are not in at this time. We wouldn't have ripe tomatoes until toward end of season. All our produce is fresh. Strawberries will be coming in June. We are seasonal fresh vegetables and flower producers. The green houses are full and vegetable flats of tomatoes are early in there growing stage. Come on in and perhaps you can grow your own. Until tomatoes come in from other various sources, in about two weeks we won't have any tomatoes to sell. We sell corn and pumpkins too in season. We also operate a fruit and vegetables stand on Bay Road in Queensbury. As soon as tomatoes come in you can come in and let them ripen for your sauce. We also sell local honey, jams, gardening soil, grass seed and some gifts.
Pre cut only sorry
No pick your own
He doesnt grow strawberries there. You have to buy them in season.
