Very nice and informative place detailing what goes into the hatchery as well as the different species they take care of.

Wonderful facilities and exhibits, complete with outdoor fish ladder, picnic area, and clean restrooms. The Salmon River Falls are also nearby and worth checking out.

A super cool place to tour and learn about salmon. I’ve been visiting the hatchery since I was a kid as my dad is a salmon/fishing enthusiast. It’s always a cool trip and educational too.

We always plan to start our egg take the first Tuesday after Columbus Day, every year. So, Oct 9th. Usually from 10am to 1pm, weekdays only. All this is also dependant on optimum water temperature, and if we have enough fish at our gates! So far, things look good.
