I love lake Parker I love biking around the lake in the morning and it's just beautiful the beautiful sounds the beautiful birds. We also fish it quite frequently I'm glad sometimes the gate is open a little early. Thank you lake Parker it's looking really good these last couple years thank you for being there for us!

This is a great park, with a variety of play structures (boat shaped playground, swings, zip-line, playground for smaller kids, music toys, and more). There a lots of benches, a bunch of pavilions with picnic tables, and 4 different jogging paths.

Can u have a birthday party at one of the not enclosed pavilions by playground? Should masks be worn?

Christina Graham | Aug 23, 2020
Humberto Perez | Aug 23, 2020

Yes you can have a party. Mask would probably be a good idea.

Are the enclosed Pavilions for rent or are they first come first served as well?

Jennifer Todd | Aug 24, 2018
May Chang | Aug 24, 2018

The "enclosed" ones are for rent. I believe there are 3, but they're located towards the back of the park and far from the playground. You'd have to look on the City of Lakeland website or call them for pricing and reservation. The large, but open, pavillions near the playground are first come first serve.

What is the actual distance of each of the walking paths red, yellow, blue and green. Does one of these paths actually go completely around the lake? Thanks

Nancy Panten | Aug 24, 2018
shantilly drake | Aug 23, 2021

No you can't go all the way around Lake Parker because of the plant. But the paths are generally 1/2 mile, 1 mile and 2 miles. Then you have paths that take you by specific wildlife. But always be alert because of the gators and coyotes.
