Beautiful and serene. A great place to spend a fun weekend camping. We loved our cabin. The fridge worked great. Clean bathrooms and showers. Great neighbors

This place looks great for family. Good rates. Four stars a tad sad. Upkeep on the place of needed as well as some security. Sign in log is needed for visitors even though you have one but when I came there was no one in office. Suggesting is to place one accessible outside the door. Make families feel little more safer.

Don’t like giving bad reviews but this one required. Arrived with reservation on 8/25 after a long drive. As others said, the turn off from the main road is easy to miss; we did. After climbing the hill, came to a T in the road but the direction sign was covered by overgrown brush. Had to get out to reveal it; that’s the sort of thing a camp owner should always keep clear. Entered the campground and found the small registration building unoccupied & locked. We were previously told this might be the case so we called Tony to register and show us to our site. What we were NOT TOLD about beforehand was the BOIL WATER sign posted on the building door (Health Dept), which identified all the bad things found in the campground water a day or two before. And when Tony arrived, all he said was that the pump broke and there was no water in the campground; not clear when repairs would take place. Nothing was mentioned about the posted notice of “unregistered inhabitants”. Can’t comment about the actual campsites because we didn’t stay (fortunately found a much better campground not too far away). What we can comment on is that’s it’s unconscionable to not call someone who is arriving that day with a reservation and explain what the situation is and let us determine if we want to change our plans. Things break, no problem there. How you handle that - or not – was the problem in this case.

Like some people pointed out already, the staff is usually not at the front desk. Not a big deal, just picked up the phone and called. Had no issues with them at all. The owner was awesome. We had planned on getting a camp site but when we got there they had a cabin available so we took that instead. It was a really nice cabin. Small but nice. Had electric, heat, microwave, and fridge. It was great. We fit 5 adults, although we did have to put an air mattress in their so we all fit. The camp ground itself was really nice for a camp ground. Bathrooms were not bad and the washroom had just been redone. The game room has a pool table! We would certainly go here again. *Side note, Verizon had 4g lte and so did at&t. Sprint didn't fair so well and could only make calls. Was nervous because we had lost cell service for 20 minutes on approach and we were not sure if we would have any once we got to the camp ground.

Yes there is but I don't remember the price you would have to call them
Cottage is 70 dollar
We stayed in our camper so Unfortunately I've got nothing for you on the cabins. Sorry.
$70/night. The information is available on their website.
Just a few miles in the opposite direction of Lake Winola is Ford's pond. It's a great place for bass. And they are a short drive from the susquehanna river . There is a boat launching spot just on the other side of the RT 92 Falls bridge.
They do have a swimming pool but if you're looking for other natural water you have to drive for that.
Just down the road is the public fishing area of lake Winola and about 2 or 3 miles down the road in the opposite direction is Ford's pond. If your looking to play bingo and such activities try How-kola camp grounds. Pardon me on the spelling I know there only about 3 miles or so from Highland. Highland is realy a nice place if you want to just relax and sit around the fire.
