Absolutely beautiful state park! It's a fairly easy hike that takes you under a couple waterfalls. It gets wet and muddy in some spots so be sure to wear shoes/boots and clothing you don't mind getting a little wet or dirty. Be sure to stop at the information center, one of the bridges was closed during our visit and the people working there helped us out by giving us map and marking a modified route passed the renovations and a side path that quickly takes you from the end back to entrance.

Beautiful waterfalls!!! Lost of stairs but it is soooo worth it! The power of nature is amazing! The whole Gorge trail is breathtaking from first step till last! *wear closed shoes that hold your feet well and are preferably water resistant. The ground is often wet, slippery, and uneven. However this it still an easy hike with breathtaking views that you do NOT want to miss!

I brought my daughter here for a day trip. Even though the Gorge Trail was busy, it was completely stress-free. We did not feel rushed at all and had the opportunity to take over 120 pictures on the walk. The Gorge Trail is amazing, as highlighted by the included photos. Be aware that the walkways can get quite wet with puddles and clay. Additionally, there are quite a few stairs to climb along the trail, indicated by the moderate skill level designation. If you have any interest or connection with nature, this is a must experience.

This was an amazing park with one beautiful thing to see after another. Gorge trail takes you right alongside some of the most beautiful and magnificent waterfalls. You can easily do as much or as little of the trail as you want. There are a lot of steps so if you are not able to do steps this may not be a good choice. However they do have other trails that go around the falls on a higher level than can be easier and more accessible. Dogs are not allowed on the gorge trail so plan accordingly. They were doing repairs on one of the bridges but it did not take away from the amazing views and experience.
