All of creation declares the glory of GOD! And there is plenty of beautiful scenery and peaceful nature to enjoy and give thanks for here.

This is our favorite place to hike. It's the perfect place to bring your child because the paths are very flat. While it's not a very challenging hike, it's a beautiful and tranquil area. There's wildflowers everywhere and butterflies and birds flitting about. The view of Chartier's Creek is breathtaking. The thing I like most Thornburg Park is that we typically don't see many people on our hike. It feels like a hidden oasis. We have been going here for years, and we will continue to do so. It's a really magical slice of nature.

It's really just a center point to a lot of different trails. Depending on which paths you take, you could end up by some train tracks or walking down Chatiers Creek. If you just want to hike around through the woods and try some neat trails, it's a good place to go. Free parking and dog friendly (as long as you have the proper tags/permit for the dog).

You could try the Thornburg park, but I wouldn't fish for food, just fun. The creek is easy to get to, lots of spots from the banks can walk to waters edge. - if in Sheridan, maybe just consider the Ohio river

Thornburg dog park- Rumor has it that there are inhuman claw traps that were found in the dog park, is there any truth to this?????

I was just at the park Saturday and walked all over it, and headed down the creek toward Carnegie and I spotted nothing like you describe. Dog are only allowed in the park on Wednesdays, I think, and Saturdays. It's a beautiful area. I've been there a few times and never saw a trap.
