Hands down the best experience we’ve ever had buying a car. Sam, our salesman, was top notch and handled everything beautifully from beginning to end. He did a wonderful job ensuring that the car we initially were looking at was all set to go the moment we arrived and helped us decide what options were most important. Once we decided, Arturo, the manager, came over to congratulate us and offer his assistance with anything else we might need. Mark, in financing, did a fabulous job with the paperwork and explaining the warranty and Calvin did an incredible job ensuring we understood all of the technology and other important components. After shopping at several other dealerships in the Orange County area and being incredibly disappointed with some pretty shady sales techniques, Pacific Subaru was a breath of fresh air. They all proved to be genuine, honest, kind hearted, thoughtful people who continuously go above and beyond to provide exceptional service. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else! I originally went to Subaru Pacific because I thought that they had fairer prices than the dealership in Santa Monica. At my most recent visit, I was presented with a price list for a standard 48,000 mile service - pricing that ranged from $400+ on the high end to 300+ on the low end. The pricings, with descriptions of what would be done, were labeled as recommended to minimum. I had been told on the phone that the price should be around 150 - at the highest. After questioning the rep, he said that the price list was the dealership's recommended service - not the manufacturer's. I could get the manufacturer's service for the 150, but only because I knew that the price should be lower. The lower price was not offered as an option in my initial discussion with the rep. Perhaps I have been lucky to not have experienced such a blatant upsell in my previous visits to Subaru Pacific. I won't, though, be taking the car back. I feel that this approach to pricing is clearly designed to take advantage of people. Oh, in addition, the brake job that they recommended was quoted 250 more than what I paid at another location. Never again.

Had a really great experience here with Nancy and Sandra! Everyone did what they could to work with what I wanted and I really appreciate how transparent everyone was compared to my experiences at other dealerships. Considering how long things can take at a dealership, we didn’t spend too much time and overall, it was a no-nonsense experience. Highly recommend this dealership!

Very racist. My husband and I walked into the showroom and no one helped us. The front desk person finally helped us after two minutes and tried to find a salesperson but they all claim they were busy. One was identified after 5 minutes and he seemed forced. We wanted to test drive a car, and he seemed surprised. He started asking about our salaries, jobs, and even sent on his phone to Google our workplace and asked us what the company do. He couldn't believe we made nice salaries. He didn't explain much on needed down payment and really didn't seem interested. We didn't care anymore and left ... why continue conversation with a company that doesn't want our business anyway. My husband and I are African-American, educated, and professionals. We worked too hard to put up with racist tactics.
