This company is a scam. The billing system is purposely screwed up so they can turn the water off and then reap the reward of the money to get it turned back on. You get multiple bills WEEKLY with different due date and amounts. Depending on the day you call and who helps you it could either be a great experience or the rudest person you've ever encountered in your life. Some staff are amazing and others are beyond rude.

This organization is not only the most unprofessional group of individuals I have dealt with in a very long time but they practice unethical business and billing practices. Watch them closely as they will inevitably rip you off when it comes to automatic bill payment through your debit card or checking account. Furthermore, they have zero sense of urgency when it's your money admittedly and erroneously taken out of your bank account by them. They should be held accountable for their unethical and I believe borderline, if not completely, illegal business and billing practices! I will continue to pursue the funds they ADMIT to misbilling me and taking out of my bank account without notification or permission to do so. I certainly hope they are not allowed to continue to do this to many others but unfortunately nobody oversees their activities or rogue actions taken against their monopolized marketplace clients! Shame on you LHMWD! Oh and fix your online bill payment portal so we can pay our bills on time and not risk being subjected to your dictatorial service suspension tactics!!! 😡😠🤬

To the lady's at the front desk, Thank you. Do to a family emergency I was unable to pay my water bill in a timely fashion, needless to say my water was turned off, after explaining what had happened these beautiful women helped me, they were able to have my water turned back on today and are allowing me to pay my bill Tuesday. I am sorry I didn't get their names, but I will never forget how they were able to help me and hope to be able to pay it forward one day

Have you traveled anywhere in California, except for your little community? Have you seen the Sacramento River or any rivers in California? Millions, if not billions, of gallons of water gone. California is in a major drought. 3 weeks of rain isn't even a drop in a bucket.
Go to the website where it asks for your address only put your number no street name. I know that it is stupid but if you put your street name it Saya that it doesn't match their records. I had to go to the office because I had the same problem. That was when I found out. Basically all they need is street number and account number.
They are non profit, not sure if they do any kind of discounts
