Nice Guy

Went in for a front plate fixer ticket. A grumpy old man CHP named Smith dragged himself out, clearly didn't wanna be there. He was rude and tried to cite my window tint, which was not even the issue for my visit. I explained to the senile gramps that the other cop already took the measurement during the stop and passed it. He refused to sign the ticket saying I need to come back after removing my tint saying any tint is illegal??? Guess this poor miserable gramps had to taste his power trip once more before hitting retirement. What a shame cops like that ruins it for others. On the way back home, I got another officer to sign it off.

Officer Jones assisted me with an alleged traffic infraction regarding my work vehicle. He was very informative and approachable. He patiently explained the situation and asked for mine and my assistant’s perspective regarding the event in question. Very professional, great guy.

The highway patrol officer was courteous and helpful when it came to verifying my fix it ticket last year. However my friend was in an accident many years ago and he was treated like garbage because he was upset with them and yelling. Always be polite with officers and they will remain polite with you!
