Very beautiful course and first 9-holes was great and the last 9-holes are very challenging. Staff are great and facilities are well maintained.

Scenery is beautiful. Enjoyed the front 9, but back was more challenging for a short hitter making it difficult to get over some hazards. Restaurant was great. Had breakfast before playing. Relaxing and friendly atmosphere!

The staff are always kind and professional whether it’s the marshal, those working in the pro-shop or the restaurant staff. The practice facilities are really good. Good driving range, and short game areas. The course as a whole is tough, but the front nine is where you can go much lower to set yourself up for the gauntlet that is the back nine. Even though it’s tougher, I actually enjoy the back more. It’s gorgeous up in the hills with views, more wildlife and less housing around. However, you’ll be dealing with a lot of elevation changes, shots that will require a great deal of accuracy and odd side hill lies. The summer can be too hot to play, unless you snag an early morning tee time, which is why I think from February through Spring or September to November are the best times to play weather wise. The price seems fine for week days but it’s getting a little pricy for weekends. Overall, it’s definitely worth a play.

Very cool golf course located in a very residential area! The day I went, there were two tournaments going on and also a wedding. The staff is very welcoming and very helpful. I was there for the tournament. They immediately got me a golf cart and took me to our hole to set up our booth. Anytime we needed anything the staff was ready to help. It's a very scenic place with Mount Diablo prominently in the horizon. Very well kept course extremely green and fun. But you can't beat the scenic views!!

I heard that The Callippe Silverspot Butterfly is an endangered spices indigenous to the area....
It's the name of the wild butterfly that inhabits the surrounding preserve.
