I am experiencing serious health problems and was looking for help from the county dept designated to help care for my health. The women who answered my call eventually hung up on me because she didn't believe the symptoms I was having or the circumstances. I feel like my local government has let me down.

On 5/10/21, I spoke with "Emily" about CA COVID Restrictions in Assisted Care Facilities. Emily's customer service skills were excellent and she had a great sense of humor, too! She answered all my questions and dispelled many rumors. An added bonus was Emily connecting me on a conference call with the facility my mother-in-law lives in. Due to Emily's "above and beyond" assistance during these uncertain times, my husband now knows he can visit his 96 year old mom for the first time since 11/2019. Thank you, Emily! Keep up the great work, take care and be safe! 😊

Riverside County Public Health is consistantly inaccurate your reporting of the current number of covid-19 cases and deaths in Riverside County. Please go to "Worldometer" website. You check them. I don't know if you are incompetent or deceptive but you are at least inaccurate which regardless is misleading. If your errors were sometimes over and sometimes under, it would appear to be incompetence or at least an indication of the difficulty in keeping track of a moving goal. However, you consistantly under report and that looks suspicious of having an agenda. Is someone manipulating the report in effort to advance the goal of reopening at the expense of whoever may die from covid-19 by ignoring the truth of the numbers and how that correlates to decisions based on the science. If that is the case, then shame on whoever is responsible. You need to get alone, and do some sincere self appraisal of the condition of yourself.

Ah yes, the reason why homelessness is so bad in our area, as they receive services from this facility. Too bad, really. I am sure they are doing a great service by making sure the crazies take their meds (the ones that will, most don't). I could pick a better location for this office...like Thermal..or Blythe...or maybe the Moon?
