Highly recommend this firm! Edrin was my lawyer and he is a phenomenal lawyer! Not only is he super knowledgeable, but what was most important to me was that he really cared about me as a person and did everything he could to help get my case settled. Shab also cares about his clients and works with you and guides you to keep you informed on your case. I called over 10+ lawyers when looking to find the right law firm and I can say with certainty I had chosen the right one. Thank you again!

When you have a real estate issue always have an attorney on your side... I used Kerendian & Associates after speaking to 4 other firms.. they are professional, quick, easy to work with, explain complex issues you can understand, and they get results! Having an attorney on your side could make all the difference.. highly recommended.

We rented a nice house in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles. Unfortunately, after a while we started to have issues with this house. We ask our landlord several times to fix it, but he didn’t respond to our requests. Because of this issue our property became watery. The humidity ruined our antic furniture and caused my children’s illness. My landlord instead of resolving this issue filed a lawsuit to evict us. Mr. Kerendian professionally handled this case. He was helpful through all the process. He did an amazing job and got compensation for me and my family. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends. I hired Mr. Kerendian to represent me in a lawsuit with my ex-landlord. We leased a house on the west side of LA, in Brentwood. The pipe broke and flooded the house. I asked the landlord to fix it, but he didn’t respond. The last time that the pipe broke and flooded the garage, the landlord did not even bother send anyone over. The humidity damaged our furniture and caused the kid's sickness. Landlord instead sued for eviction. This firm defended the eviction and sued the landlord and got compensation from the landlord for us. We were in a long battle with our landlord in court and Mr. Kerendian represented us. He fought with them for us and settled the case. This firm is on top of their cases, and they let us know what was going on with the case every step of the way. Thank you.

The people at this law firm are nothing but understanding and helpful. I was extremely impressed with the positive nature of the staff. This law firm has amazing customer service with great people working there. Shab and his team are super rare. Shab gave me piece of mind and excellent legal help when I needed it most. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. I found him to be a person of strong ethics - very honest, courteous, sensitive, helpful, and professional. I will definitely recommend him to people and will use him again in the future if the need arises!! Very satisfied would be the two words I would use to describe my experience with Kerendian & Associates. I hope this review helps someone in your search. Thank you for reading this. I wish you very well.

Questions & Answers

Also, on a mortgage on a house, if I have a case with my mortgage lender, if they win, can they get their attorneys fees against me? Specifically, do I run the risk of getting hit with their legal fees?

The mortgage contracts are drafted by lenders. Mostly, there is a language that the lender can add their legal fees to the balance owed. So, yes. In a lawsuit with your lender, you should check your contract. Generally they have a clause that may make you responsible for their legal fees.

Hi, I like to know if I have a case for breach of contract, if I win, can I get my attorneys fees paid?

Depends if the contract at issue has an attorneys' fees clause or if a statute provides for attorneys' fees. Otherwise, in general, the rule of tumb is that each side pays their own attorneys fees.
