Sometimes it's nice because the fairways are so hard you'll get a good bounce for sure, but some of the greens are the same way.

The best thing about Bluff Creek is the greens are all well kept here. Last time I was there, it looked like they had gotten rid of all the really old carts, which is nice too.

Interesting course. Played it for the first time today. If you are looking for pristine country club conditions, this is not the place for you. However, if you like a course in the wilderness with no homes and a variety of elevations, this is a good choice. Fairways are a bit rugged. I would suggest playing lift, clean and place, because a shot in the fairway can land on grass, weeds or bare ground. Greens were in good shape. Carts are old, but mine got me around the course without breakdown. I like courses that are not stuffed into some subdivision where you worry that every errant shot might hit a house. This course fits that bill. Rates are reasonable and pace of play was excellent on a weekday morning. Front desk was friendly and gave me some good pointers on navigating the course. On balance, I liked the course, and would play again.

Decent course but they do a horrible job with overbooking. Had only two people waiting behind 4 foursomes and only one knew common rule of letting players play through. One of the groups hit into me without any apologies. Staff is friendly but needs to do a better job at managing booking to 8-10 minutes between tee times versus 5 minutes between. Cart died when starting the course as well off the second hole.
