been going to this theater for years. glad to see they survived the pandemic. was here recently to see parallel mothers. some new things at the theater. new carpet which is great because the old one made the place smell terrible and appear dirty. merchandise. cool t shirts and socks with balboa theater printed w cool graphics. they need a new popcorn machine. this one is on its last legs. they are now selling hanger 27 sodas which are a local soda company out of Oakland. would like to see some Mexican classic cinema like Maria Felix films. that would be fantastic!

Nice quaint quality 2 screen theater. Went for g fest this weekend. Vendor's in the lobby, shirt's ect. They hold different events . bathroom to the right and refreshments on the left.

You can't reserve seats in advance. It's just an old school neighborhood theatre.
You can purchase a block of 5 tix for $37.50. Its worth it if you are a local
