I would never purchase another Viking product again. I have a one year old, $5,000 gate opener that is always stuck open or stuck closed, well to be honest, sometimes stuck half-way. Viking has not been concerned with helping.

Terrible customer service. Why have a contact request when you have no intentions of contacting the customer? I’ve tried twice over the last 3 months with no luck. I understand covid-19 is causing issues, but 3 months should be more than enough time to reply back to a customer.

Poor product design and even worse customer support. Yes, you will get to talk to a human, but that human will have no clue what they are doing and anyone higher up with the knowledge to help will be to "swamped" to assist you! After 3 weeks of swapping parts and trying the same things over and over the device still wouldn't work reliably and there was no concern from Viking (Elika) that this was causing sever down time for the client and forcing the integrator to continually come onsite to try the same things again. **FYI Viking and Elika are the same company.

Hi, try setting the "manual release" switch to "OFF", then moving the gate manually (by hand). If you are unable to do so, you may need to call a service company. You are also welcome to call our technical support line at (800) 908 - 0884 ext. 2
