I love Moss Beach Ranch!!! Dru Nagle is a wonderful trainer and takes amazing care of my horse Puzzle and me. Her expertise with horses is so far above other people I have had training him and she has made Puzzle so calm and he trusts her completely. I adore that Dru uses him in lessons for her students. Puzzle is like a dog now and I cannot praise Dru Nagle enough. If you are looking for lessons for you or your child, contact Dru!!!!!

I love this place. My daughter takes lessons a few times a year with Ulrike Ruppelt and has learned so much. Her horse back riding skills have improved and she is confident on a horse. I highly recommend this teacher. She is very flexible, calm and very detailed. The horses are very well trained. I think everyone should try at least one lesson in life to see if they like horse back riding. As a parent, I enjoy being at the ranch just watching the horses and the students learning their new skills.

Questions & Answers

my 10 yr old granddaughter is coming for a visit from Michigan next week. She is horse crazy. I would love to have her be able to ride for an hr or so on a good horse...and have an interesting ride. Any suggestions?

Call and ask for Jeanette. She'll get you into the right class. They are careful with their horses and le to make sure the rider and horse are a good fit you could probably go out there and look around and see how it works, but you probably would not be able to just go and ride. There's a couple places on Highway one that just have horses for trail riding.

how much money?

It depends on the instructor and type of discipline. Trail ride or lesson?
