I attended the driver academy training and loved it! I have my CDL and I am currently waiting on a trainer for next week😊 My orientation was at the Rancho Dominguez CA terminal and it was very clean and everyone was happy and smiling (dispatchers and drivers) The hotel I stayed at while at orientation was also nice and clean. thank you Emily my recruiter for all your help as well.. I highly recommend Knight for all new CDL drivers!!

If your a driver, just an fyi this isnt the yard you can really do a 10 hour break at. It's pretty much an in and out yard for crates

Do they have overnight truck/trailer parking. I make deliveries to the Ralphs in Compton would like to find a safe place to park that's closer Palm Desert. Thanks

If you drive for Knight you can park in their lot. Bobtails only. You can stay out on the street.

Hi Bobbie, it is paid if you attend the CDL school in Phoenix. The weekly pay is $425 while you're in school and once you graduate from the school you'll see $100 increase per week and once you seat your own truck, you'll get another pay increase. Where do I go to fill out an application to drive trucks . I'm new Don't have a lic. Want it! And I want to go to the school they offer us to learn how to drive the trucks

You can fill out an online application at www.DriveKnight.com. A recruiter from the Squire CDL school will reach out to you.

To get the CDL A, has to be out from the state? I have kids and Im single mom so is hard to let them for too many days

Knight will take the CDL from any state if you don't have it they do offer a class where they will help you get your class A CDL. If you need to be home more often Knight Transportation does have a port and rail division which I am a part of and I get home everyday to every other day.
