I went here for the first time the other day in the late afternoon before trivia started. This was a good time to visit if you like to go when the brewery is less busy. The beers were great. The bartender was friendly, helpful, and not pushy at all with trying to sell me things I might not want. She even gave me a sample of a beer I was unsure of and I ended up ordering some of them to go. I plan on returning for more beers and to try the food (lots of great choices).

We came upon this place on our road trip up to New England. What a gem! Great beer - the Black Forest Schwarzbier was a unique and tasty dark brew. Also has a wide set of German-style food we didn't try, but the sandwich, beet salad, and enormous soft pretzel were awesome! Finally, a friendly staff and even a dog-friendly patio!

The beer is awesome! Each one is on point for what it's trying to do. The food was great, very German style. The entrees we're delicious. It would be nice to see one or two basic appetizers (like fries or nachos or something) added to the menu just for those who are there for a drink and just want something to snack on. Absolutely going back soon, some of the best beer in the area!
