This was my first visit to this location. Marriott didn't disappoint. My room was clean and cozy, breakfast was fabulous and the staff very helpful. Will come back for next business trip.

A lovely team helped us when we checked in in a bit of a rush (were headed to a wedding). Our room was comfortable and clean. Some of our family members were staying down the hall and needed help with their in-room AC. The tech that came to help was very kind and helped to fix the issue.

When I first came into my room I noticed a weird smell I had to use the bathroom as soon as I walked in and my slides got stuck to the floor it was so sticky I was confused about why the bathroom was sticky so I asked someone to come and mop it and the kitchen as well .. Then after closer examination I could tell the room had everything replaced but nothing had been dusted or wiped down because I wiped down and sanitized everything myself … It was also crumbs in the drawers and I wiped those and the refrigerator out because there was crumbs there too . I said to myself wow someone got lazy cleaning this room but instead of me moving all of my things again and asking for another room I just kept cleaning until I felt comfortable to unpack my things . Also the customer service at the front desk is rude . At first when I got here and noticed the staff was majority black I was so happy about that because my people taking up somewhat good jobs but then again after closer examination if you’re just here to collect $ and could care less about the guest staying here then move out the way so someone can better fill that position because that’s the whole point of the job. I enjoyed my stay here because of me but I’m glad I’m checking out today because the energy here is such a front and I’m ready to go .

I gave 1 star because it requires it, otherwise I would have given none. If you plan to stay extended, I suggest staying at Staybridge. The rooms are a little smaller and they do not have the indoor heated pool but they do not charge for the use of washers and dryers. They offer free drinks and food, YES I said free. The most important thing they offer is the customer service it's as different as night and day. Residence Inn had to move my rooms due to being locked out constantly due to the card reader not being charged then smoking. They moved me into a room where the couch cushions were destroyed and I was not going to take the blame and pay for that so I was moved again. I can not tell you how many times I came in from work which was typically late at night and had to go to the front desk to get clean towels or linens for my bed and make it myself because housekeeping is so lazy they can't do those 2 simple tasks. Your personal pillows will come up missing as well. It was always something with this Hotel. The only thing they have going on for them is KEITH, he works nights typically and he is excellent and takes care of his customers. Subaru, Cassandra , Evian, and Carla have no idea what customer service is. I wish you happy traveling in your future, hope this helps save you the headache I had.
