Johnathan responded promptly to my inquiry. He was very informative and sincere. Although, my problem did not qualify for a lawsuit, Johnathan has agreed to assist me anyway... I mean, not many professionals go out of their way just to help the public these days.Well, this firm does! So if it was between calling Employees First Labor Law or another number, I would definitely go with this firm.

Jonathan LaCour (the founder and managing attorney of EFLL) is the most compassionate and highly competent attorney with whom I've interacted, and his entire team reflects the exact same commitment and level of expertise. Not only is Jonathan incredibly perceptive, strategic, and patient, but his purpose in practicing law is genuinely to help people; his kind demeanor, ability and willingness to listen, and nonjudgmental attitude will help you take a deep breath during stressful circumstances and your best interests and best outcomes will always be at the forefront of his agenda. Attorneys with equal parts skill and authenticity are few and far between. Usually, if you get the Ivy league-attorney you do so at the expense of any personal attention: you're shuffled through a million assistants and associates and/or have to call/email endlessly just to [maybe] finally get an update or a call back. Alternatively, if you get the very attentive and sincere, compassionate, and readily available attorney...you do so at the expense of the skill-set and experience of the Ivy league hotshot. In Jonathan's team, there's no dichotomy - you aren't forced to choose between the two. He is wicked smart, excellent at explaining things and breaking them down in latent terms, and his level of kindness/dedication when your life is likely in stressful disarray (if you're contacting an attorney, it usually is!) ...is unparalleled. Jonathan has been incredibly attentive and responsive; he continues to answer my questions and provides me with insight and guidance to better equip me to make big decisions. He also ensures things are done the right way, for the right outcome, and yet he is always willing to explain things so that you don't feel like you're going in blind. That's a rarity in an attorney and incredibly comforting and valuable. (It's never easy to just blindly trust someone to handle important aspects of your life! He ensures you don't have to.) Thanks to Jonathan, I'm not stuck between a rock and a hard place and that is solely due to his genuine desire and willingness to help. He has been such a valuable resource and advocate. Bottom line: I cannot recommend Jonathan LaCour highly enough - you will not find a better and more sincere, dedicated attorney. He's the man! Thanks again for all of your assistance, Jonathan. I greatly appreciate it!

I called Employees First Labor Law about 20 minutes before closing. I gave my information and was told that someone would call me the next day. To my surprise, Jonathan called me the same day after business hours to provide me with a free consultation. He answered all my questions regarding the governor's mandates and my employment. Jonathan even offered to review the document that my employer is requesting that I sign in order to thoroughly explain the contents of the document. I appreciate the prompt response and the willingness to review the document with me before I sign it.

Although I did have to call them twice to get ahold of someone to speak to, I am so grateful I did. I explained my situation about my labor and employment law case and was transferred to Jonathan who is a fantastic listener who really cares about helping others. He could have easily turned me away, but reassured me about all my concerns and questions I had and explained each and every process and step thoroughly and confidently. You can just tell when you're in the presence of someone at the top of their profession and that's exactly what I've got with my interactions here so far.

Questions & Answers

What are the federal statues or legal remedies against an defense attorney who intentionally give falsifications and improper court procedures to the court's judge to dismiss the plaintiff's case from a future court date?

Jonathan LaCour | Aug 23, 2019

Hi James, I wish I had better news but we have known defense counsels to provide false and intentionally skewed information for litigation advantage. I am very sorry to hear that this is happening in your matter. My best suggestion would be to retain counsel for your matter, if you haven't already, and to push through the litigation process. Defense counsels routinely attempt to delay and frustrate the Plaintiff. Don't let them succeed. If all else fails you can file a 128.7 motion for sanctions against defense counsel submitting frivolous pleadings.
