I lived here only 2 months. I’ve been without a functioning mailbox that the post office refuses to deliver to until the building fixes the box. 2 MONTHS NO MAIL. I moved in with mold in my unit AND the first rain my ceiling poured. Maintenance requests take over a month. Lovely in building manager. HORRIBLE FACELESS COMPANY that does not care. Do not rent at 7000 Hawthorn or from any of their properties! New management has great approved things

False advertising don’t trust them !!!! I currently rent from 4214- 4240 s Hoover st… they are absolutely rude and inconsiderate. I would not waste my money whatsoever if I can change back time I’d never rent from them. a lot of messed up things first off my water pressure was low and I had no hot water, went like that for like 2 months tops contacted the manager and office no one would respond.. their maintenance people don’t know what they’re doing at all so they came to fix it and said they did and left my water completely off because they forgot to turn it back on so they hired a real plummer and they told me that their maintence don’t know Jack.. I miss days of work because I couldn’t shower I couldnt even cook dinner.. then secondly their electrical box inside my apartment is so outdated I went with 2 days without power for several ours lawdp came and fix it and told me it was a landlords issue they had to update it so I missed out on work again when maintenance came he was extremely rude and decided to help my back neighbors instead despite that I mention I had to go to work and knowing my back neighbors don’t work I contacted Patricia in the office about getting some type of discount for my rent for all the issues I had and missed time from work she said she’d contact me back never did it’s almost 3 weeks now I call the office and phonecalls go straight to voicemail also she was very impolite so as edgar the head maintenance supervisor I’m still waiting to see if they’ll give me a discount it’s already been 3 weeks still no response I’m just getting ignored so guys these people don’t care if u have messed up things or roaches as long they get their money I’d think twice before renting only because I was desperate to leave my last location if I could go back I’d never rent from rude people …

False advertising. They promoted a property that included a fridge that didn’t actually work and had me sign it over in my name even though the property manager claimed it was in working function, so I had to pay for it to be removed and purchase my own fridge for replacement. Additionally, they promoted a washer and dryer on site, and after four months here, I’ve only been able to use them for a total of one month. After the first month, the washer broke down and has been indefinitely non-functional since. I’ve contacted Fred Leeds for repair updates, but they just ignore the emails. Highly recommend you look elsewhere for living accommodations.
