I come here at least 3 times a month to bring my mom, Nellie is always here helping my 74 yr old mother out. Nellie is so kind and sweet to my mom always greeting her with a smile and telling her it so nice to see you walking around. Best post office in town.

So far they have refused to knock on my door to get a signature for a certified letter not even attempting to see if I was home, which I was and then checked the box that said they couldn't get a signature. They have lost my very important utility bill payment that was almost late and it only had to go downtown, and now they've lost my birthday card from my brother sent over a week ago. I get more mail addressed to other people than I do my own! The service has gone down hill for sure.

I WAS, and I stress, "WAS," a loyal customer to this branch, but after today, I will never return to patronize them again. I have been mailing off packages - weekly - and purchasing stamps -every few months - at this particular post office for my company since I moved to our Riverside location from Beaumont, 1 year ago. NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH PURCHASING STAMPS (Not in Beaumont, not here), EVER, until today. First of all, the older blond clerk that was assisting me obviously had never sold stamps in this volume before. She didn't know what to do and openly admitted that to me. I have seen her there, numerous times over the year, surely she had to have had some experience with this. NOPE. She had to seek assistance. Where the other clerks before had taken my company check and allowed me to purchase our stamps - WITH NO PROBLEM - this lady takes my check, says she has to call the bank to verify the funds, and leaves me standing at the counter for 10 minutes while she goes in the back. I can hear her discussing the issue with someone in the back. There is only 1 other clerk working out front and a line out the door, so I was subjected to a lot of huffing and puffing and comments from the other patrons about my situation. Embarrassing! Then she finally returns, telling me that the number on the check for the bank was invalid, so she could not verify the funds, asking me if I could provide her with a valid number. I am in Human Resources, not Fiscal, I have nothing to do with the issuing of checks, nor do I have knowledge of the number to the Bank of Yucaipa off hand. She tells me she cannot help me, so I say I will just go somewhere else, and never come back here. When I tell her I have never had a problem purchasing stamps at this location, instead of finding a solution for me, or talking to a manager that may have assisted me as a loyal customer, she just tells me, "Sorry" and goes about her business. A lot of wasted time and frustration for nothing! I originally came to this post office because it is closest to my office. I liked it because it was smaller. A better customer service feel... ...yeah, right! Now, I will have to drive across town to do all of our mailing and purchasing. It is inconvenient for me. But I guess it doesn't matter to her as long as I was out of her face and she didn't have to tackle a task she had no knowledge of how to handle. Some customer service. Telling me that it was an invalid number and subjecting me to the snickers and the mumbles of the other customers. I will NEVER go back there again.
