My wife and I stopped in for breakfast. I ordered biscuits and gravy with sausage and she ordered a pancake. We waited 40 minutes and walked out without any food. I don't know what was going on,it was a holiday but they was open and like I said we left without any food

Friendly service and good food! Honestly we weren't too sure about the place when we first pulled up. But it had good reviews and restaurant choices were limited, so in we went. Glad we did! My husband enjoyed his Country Fried Steak. My daughter and I split the Catfish Platter and it was delish (the pic is her half). My son got the pancake and some hash browns. The pancake was thick and huge and tasty! If you're in the area, check the place out!

First off please know I love dives and mom and pop type places. We pass through Elsinore once a year and have a tradition of stopping at the Log Cabin. It isn't on our list anymore, we will now stop at the other restaurant, D's Kitchen because frankly, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in a long time. When our party of 3 arrived there was only one table occupied in the entire place. It was obviously locals and mostly coffee drinkers, we saw one person get food. More joined them and we were treated to the man in the green hat announcing he did not have Monkey Pox but he did have "Rabbit Disease" because he wants to breed everything. Classy. Fast forward a lot and after 45 min our first plate arrived... 45 min and we were one of two parties in the place. At the one hour and five minute mark, the second plate, which was not only incorrect but it was covered with chunks of raw purple onions arrived but we had to put it in a to-go box because the hour long wait for eggs, hasbrowns, toast, and a beef patty had put us late for an appointment. We had paid and waited an additional five minutes for the third order which was correct but only half was plated and served (served meaning presented in a take out Styrofoam package). Refills, also a no, and everything we ordered was on-menu items during normal breakfast hours. Oh and to the gentleman who bought the new Vermeer hay baler, all your "buddies" at the table were talking all kinds of $h¡t about you and your decision to spend $38,000 of your own money on a baler. They were only nice to you once you came in.

Stopped in for lunch on our way to Branson, and my wife and I weren't disappointed in the least. It was 1:00 PM, so I had lunch but she wanted breakfast. The club sandwich I had was fabulous, and my wife, who NEVER eats sausage gravy & biscuits, actually raved about their gravy and the bacon she was served. Stop in, and you won't be disappointed!
