I am excited to write this view because my family and I had such a great experience dinning at Mama Onesta's . It was our first time . I made a reservation on Father's day to celebrate my husband's special day . It is a nice small restaurant . First had my favorite wine came cold and hubby ordered watermelon martini with fresh hot garlic bread knots . Then we ordered Fried Asiago Cheese Stuffed Gnocchi and Mozzarella Carrozza they both were delicious specially the Gnocchi. Then I ordered Collosal Shrimp ( perfectly cooked shrimp and pasta with Lobster sauce which was a new taste to me and I loved every bit of it ) Hubby had Chicken Vesuvio another authentic delicious Italian dish that we loved and would definitely order again 😋 For dessert I had pistachio Gelato which was perfect also had mixed Gelato ( with all flavors together) that was a unique taste . Tiramisu tasted great as well as their chocolate mousse . Everything we have tried here had unique taste that will make us visit again to try other menu selections. Our waitress Yasmin was super helpful and friendly. Added this small authentic restaurant to my must visit restaurants list .

First, mainly because of the waitress I'll probably not go back. She was so strange with her attitude and she seemed annoyed that she had to take care of us. The first thing she brought to the table was a plate of bread she she actually lightly threw it on the table. We were all like what the heck was that... She wasn't very attentive to us. We spent over $300 including tip. 3 of us ordered the special which was way over priced. The steak was not tender and low quality and it tasted like beef stroganoff. The calamari was very rubbery and not good at all. Really the only thing I thought was good was the gnocchi appetizer. Unfortunately there are probably some really good things here, but I'll probably not find out.

My family has been coming to Mamma's since they opened in 2008. This past Friday night my husband and I decided to dine there since it's been awhile, I like to try different items on the menu, but always go back to a veal dish - I have two favorites - Veal Piccata and Veal Onesta. I chose the Veal Onesta this time out and it was excellent! My husband had his usual, Veal Francese, also excellent. We also shared a cannoli for dessert. Mamma Onesta's is definitely one of our favorite restaurants!!

My entire family loves this restaurant and chooses to celebrate most occasions here. I had the blackened salmon in a lobster cream sauce that was on special and if it was added to the menu I’d come here weekly! I don’t care for pasta so I wish they’d offer the salmon special permanently. Their creamy Italian dressing is incredible as is the chicken parmigiana. We are very thankful to have such a great local restaurant!
