Amazing camp site, but small and fills up fast on Fridays. Great water access, and great activities near by.

Only has 5 camp sites. Clean campground, clean port-a-potty. 2 sites along the North Fork of the John Day River. Great site for floating the river. Kimberly Orchards just down the road. Fishing was good. Only 2 miles to the John Day River. Beautiful scenery throughout the entire area.

Nice quiet campground, beautiful scenery. Loved our stay, we will come back.

Even though this campground is right on the road, it's pretty quiet. Not much traffic on the road and the river drowns out most road noise. Others mentioned snakes but I didn't see any in mid-June. There are mosquitoes, though. There's no privacy from other campers and little shade but it's nice to have access to the river. It also seems to be a weekend destination party place for local young adults.
