Nice little breakfast and lunch diner with a bit of a southern influence. The biscuits are phenomenal. Best I've had? I'm not sure, but they are right up there. The gravy is excellent. I got the southern, which is a plate full. If you can eat it all in one sitting that would be impressive. Service and attitude is right up there with the food. Good stuff. Good folks.

Got the Grits Benedict and Cornbeef hash skillet. Would not recommend. Definitely needed a lot of salt and pepper. Service was very slow towards us. The space around us very dirty and messy.

Went on a Friday morning with my wife to try their breakfast. It was a recommendation from a friend at her work. Glad we went. Food was great loved the sausage the most. Never have had sausage like that at a restaurant before great flavor. Service was outstanding and very pleasant. In my opinion it is very hard to get the service and food quality and quantity atvother places that we received there. Definitely going to go back and try other items off the menu

I found Yo Mama's while flipping through Google Maps and instantly saved it as a place I wanted to go. My logic being: who wouldn't want to try a restaurant named "Yo Mama's?" The restaurant stayed in my want-to-go list for several months. We finally went in the fall of 2021. It then became clear that I had discovered a small little local gem. The restaurant was on the smaller side and appeared to be more of a breakfast diner. They had it dressed up in seasonal decor which I thought made it a comfortable environment. Our waitress, Victoria was pleasant and delightfully sassy and made our experience far more enjoyable. She told us what her recommendations were and what was popular. She was even honest enough to tell us what she didnt care for as well. Her patience with us as we took forever to get our order ready was positively notable as well. The menu here is southern comfort food. We started with soup. Cream of Carrot. Never even knew that soup existed, had to try it. It's a rich buttery soup that blew me away. Ate it so fast, I never took a picture of it. In retrospect, I should've bought some to go. 5 stars on the soup alone. I ordered the Meatloaf. Very sizable portion here. It was good and filling. They drizzle it with a white gravy southern style. Mashed potatoes here were freshly mashed and had the skin in them just like I prefer. It also came with some extremely delicious baked beans. Even though I only had a bite, the Salibury steak was great. Had the perfect seasoning and texture. The cheesy overload burger was not quite as cheesy as the menu made it seem but it was still okay. 2 grilled cheese sandwiches serving as the bun for a hamburger. It was really quiet when we went here, but I hope they do well because I would like to come back here whenever I'm back in the area. Highly recommend this little gem
