My wife and I just took the Oyster Farm Tour, it was so awesome! Our wonderful Tour Guide Jason was very knowledgeable, personable and taught us many fascinating facts about oysters and the high standards that Carlsbad Aqua Farm keeps. One of our favorite parts was being taught how to properly shuck and eat fresh oysters! They were so yummy! Thanks Jason, Matt and the rest of the Team for an unforgettable experience! We will definitely visit again!!

A true hidden gem. The tour was interesting and our guide provided lots of information about the surrounding businesses that share in the making of farming oysters and muscles. I enjoyed learning about the growing process and especially loved the live how to shuck oysters lesson. Favorite part, yep, eating the oysters I shucked. We went to a tour around the farm which included shucking and tasting of fresh oysters. The tour was very interesting, our guide Emely was super nice and knowledgeable. The oysters were really good (according to my husband - I had to skip the tasting).

They have the best oysters I've ever eaten, but they don't always seem to want to sell them to you. I've been by several times and not been able to get any oysters, and I've been by a few times and have been able to get oysters, and I don't know what the difference is. But when you can get them, they're the best you'll ever have.
