Maintenance team is 10/10 That being said, whoever was contracted to build these units was terrible. Walls are not flush with the floors, outlets aren't anchored, almost everything that's not the ceiling needed some sort of TLC on move in. That being said... MICE EVERYWHERE. Since the walls aren't flush with the floor, the mice can come and go as they please. I can stick my whole finger in the gaps, so surely mice can get in. Absolute stress test to try to live in my new home.

This is by far the worst ever placed we lived in. We had issues from day one. I would give them negative 5 stars. Bugs, water clogging, exhaust, refrigerator not cooling, neighbors throwing couches and mattresses from above leaving us to keep our kids indoors before someone getting hurt etc. Since we moved jn IL from the south, neither us nor the sales agent had a clue how to operate the heater. At first he said that thermostats in the apartment don't work, and the window ac units work for both ac and heat. For the first few days, we had to keep the ac on as the walls and ceiling in the master bedroom were super hot and no one in the management office knew how to fix it until the manager asked us to turn off the thermostat, which resolved the issue. It was a 'duh' moment for us and may be also for the sales team. We complained multiple times about all the issues and the apartment management didn't even offer any compensation. They just dispatch maintenance guys to fix issues. They do get fixed until something new comes up. Not forgetting noisy neighbors, oh my lord! The management did talk to them and they subsided somewhat but it was still unacceptable, to a point we gave up. All this hairbrush in the first month of our move, and with so many issues, it was just too challenging for us to stay. I asked the management about moving out and break the lease, and they slapped me with 2 months notice to move out and 2 months penalty, which is also on the contract and they further remind you of that too. I even tried to negotiate and even asked them to escalate to the owners to cut down the notice period to 1 month instead of 2 months but according to the manager they refused, even when i was willing to pay for lease break up fee. We did not feel safe nor we felt like being at home. I have already given them notice early July and paid them 3600 to break the lease. Just counting my days to move out. There are many apartments in this area, which may be a better option but this one just gave us horrible experience. I would not want anyone to go through this experience. Imagine, moving in to IL from out of state only to be welcome with horrible experience in a dwelling you want to call home. Living here has just left a bad taste. Not a good place to represent warm and friendly Naperville.

This was by far the worst place I have ever lived, if you’re considering moving here – DON’T! From day 1 we had issues with the apartment not being as described (the units look NOTHING like the model unit that you tour) and management handled every issue we dealt with in the worst way that they could. I primarily dealt with Stephanie and Jessica, both of which are extremely unreliable and unprofessional. When we expressed our initial concerns upon moving in (smells, mold, and the overall poor condition of the apartment) Stephanie acted like she didn’t see anything wrong and that we were crazy, meanwhile the gentleman in maintenance acknowledged our concerns and admitted that everything in the apartment is old and hasn’t ever been replaced. Jessica continuously lost paperwork we sent, didn’t return calls, and had incorrect information. I called her when we had a flooding emergency in our apartment and she assured me she would get maintenance on it, 30 minutes later I called again and maintenance hadn’t heard a thing about it. We had property on our patio destroyed by the lawn mower that came by and Stephanie told us that it wasn’t her problem and that anything we had on our patio could be ruined and they wouldn’t be responsible. At one point Jessica said that we didn’t seem like a good fit for Fifteen98 and offered for us to end our lease early, upon hearing about this Stephanie said she wasn’t authorized to do that and we needed to wait out our lease. It was just one unprofessional conversation after another with them. I’m honestly floored that Stephanie is somehow in management, she was extremely rude and dismissive of every concern we had. We had a lot of issues in our unit that required maintenance and it was clear that they were instructed to band aid fix every issue and not actually replace anything, which naturally just leads to more issues. At one point we had a giant paint bubble in our ceiling from a burst water heater above us and instead of replacing the dry wall they just painted over it, inevitably leading to mold in the ceiling. The heating and air conditioning units are also extremely old, the electric bill for our 1 bedroom apartment was typically over $200.. insane! The property is not well maintained at all. Don’t move here...

This isn't the best place, the area is nice and the apartment is a good value but that's where the good ends. I get charged a late fee of $100 every month because their system doesn't "capture" the payment and returns it. The management claims that there is nothing they can do about it so I'm out around $500 total so far. The area is great but there are options in walking distance that are not only the same price but are bigger and with much better management.

Yes, Fifteen98 Naperville is a pet-friendly community. Cats and dogs are welcome, with a 2 pets per apartment max and a few breed restrictions.

Do they allow emotional support dogs?

I believe legally apartments in Illinois are required to if you have appropriate credentials. That being said, 1598 is pet friendly, and emotional support dogs do not make you exempt of the pet fees associated like normal.
