This is a beautiful place to walk around. I can imagine that it looks completely different during each season. During our trip this summer, there were a ton of butterflies and some pretty flowers. I'd love to return during Autumn when the leaves are changing! If you visit and if you are able, I would recommend dropping a buck or two in the ammo can located on the right side of the sign at the Entrance/exit for the volunteers that work so hard at maintaining the property. I walk pretty fast and it took about an hour to navigate the loop. I think it was about 2.5 miles or more? I may not have completed the whole route though. I'll be back either way!

Kishwauketoe is one of our family favorites for a hike in the area. Spring and summer really standout with all sorts of flowers, birds, and wetland views. Thank you to all the volunteers for keeping the trails and boardwalks up!

Going on this trail is like going on a mini vacation to the Everglades. You get to walk on board walks, experience marshland, and see wildlife. Prairie and forest are also a part of the experience. The trail is not high traffic. I also think this is a great location to take pictures for like engagement or graduation.

We always enjoy a nice hike at Kish. Today was no exception. Beautiful views year round and our kiddos enjoy the observation tower. We really like both the boardwalk areas and the forested areas as well as the creek and gazebo. If you're nearby, it's worth checking out! :)
