Came here recently to celebrate a family birthday. We were seated quickly after arriving. The table and general area were clean and the server was pleasant. We got Idaho Nachos and margherita pizza for appetizers. Both came as expected and tasted great. I'd especially recommend the Idaho Nachos (waffle fries with typical nacho accoutrements and bacon bits). I got the patty melt for my entree. It was also good. Definitely not a regular thing I'd get, but was very good. Would definitely return again. Thanks Granite City!

After being bought out, food at granite city has been on a slow, but steady slide. With the pandemic, their food cost had gone up as the menu has shrunk dramatically. They've installed one of those obnoxious touchtones jukeboxes as well. The worst is that today there is signage posted on the register that they've decided to start passing on credit card fees to the customer. Now, the surcharge is "shared x and so the customer is charged 1%. Currently there's a software bug where this is applied to the bill automatically when the food is entered by service at the wait station. So check your bill if you're not paying with a credit card. It seems as though Granite city is on the way out of being a brewery, and trying to get into the bar business.

Today I decided to take my family to Granite City to try something different. I've eaten there many times, and have always enjoyed it. My wife and her girls however had not. Right off we were blown away by our server Aaron who was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and was the perfect blend of hustle yet didn't make us feel rushed. I always get the meatloaf, and it didn't disappoint like always. The girls got one of their signature burgers, and chicken Alfredo. Both were very happy, and they're your typical kids who hate everything. My wife then had the bock and cheese which was great. I was very happy that they enjoyed this restaurant which for some strange reason always flies under the radar. We have a new restaurant that we can all enjoy. Thanks Aaron, and Granite City staff for a great experience!!

Went in for a quick snack and adult beverage. Left overly satisfied customers. Started with the artichoke dip and Buffalo shrimp. Both were worth the wait! The Millionaire Burger was amazing cooked medium with the delicious bun. Of course the sweet potatoes fries were cooked to perfection. The shrimp tacos and the Cajun pasta were also good, but we would definitely try other menu items like the pot roast next time. Relaxing spot to go and the carft beer helped set the chill mood.

Vicki, we’ve got 35 GS(Gluten Sensitive) items not including 10-12 sandwiches/flatbreads that can be prepared with Gluten free bun/crust. All items are designated so on the menu so therefore no need for a separate menu for these items. All chefs are well versed in being aware of what additional items we may have that they can create for you! Come check us out!
Cost for empty growlers depends on the style you choose. We have 3 different options. On Tuesdays and Thursdays they are $7
