Do you remember when the motel first came on the horizon in the 50s and 60s? People of a certain class could not afford to go to the hotels and we became and America that travels and so the Motel became a destination for many families in America. The Wilson Motel reminds me of those early motels oh, just a little bit of History. Parking is free they are not Ada, they do have internet they are clean and there's a great Vibe of about the place. The owners live nearby and care very much about their property. There is cable television , and a microwave and it's very close to the historical downtown area. There are several restaurants nearby and a market about probably a mile where you can stock up your refrigerator. The area is quiet. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of drawers to hide my stuff in. These days they seem to be more geared towards lengthy stays. I've met one man who's lived there now for five years! There is no sign on this Motel and the way to access registration is to go online. Do not expect daily bed changing.

Very clean accomodations. Rooms cleaned daily with towel exchange. Linens changed every 7 days. The owners are some of the friendliest people you can meet. I enjoyed my stay in the small, quaint, quiet town of Wilton.

Very good experience. Old fashioned but very clean. well kept. Quiet. Internet was good. refrig in room. Comfy bed.

Not good anymore. We stayed there for several years, but in 2012 they charged us $250 for smoking in the room. Which we did not do. It didn't matter that we phoned them and told them we did not do this. They were more interested in the money than keeping steady customers. We will not be returning to Motel Wilton.
