We get out 1 to 2 times per year. Kids always have a blast with the play stuff they have here. Adults bring bags out and have a beverage before the movie. Concession stand is loaded and reasonable. It's a fun experience for them. Leaving a review after a private event here and all the kids can't stop talking about it. Just always a good stop!

We have a great time taking the kids here. It is quite a drive for us so a huge draw back is that once we made the drive but they were sold out. So get there early for movies that are big hits. Another draw back is that sometimes (as in last year) we are unable to go because the movies are for younger children or teenagers but not a lot in between. When they do have a show we would enjoy we even bring the cousins along. Concession area is fine (the kids love it) and some people even have pizza delivered to the gate. No pets or grilling allowed. They have a cute train for the younger kids. Plenty of room up front to swing on the equipment or just play frisbee. The families watching the movie seem friendly and we have never had a single complaint about any of our experiences. So bring some snacks and join the summer crowd!

First time here and it was very neat! The concession food is very affordable for a wide variety. You can bring coolers and your own food if you desire. Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do while you're waiting for the movie to start. Although I think that they should put the portable potties far away from the concession building. 🤢 it was a long drive for us so we stayed at a hotel in Maquoketa which was very convenient and affordable!
