Neat place, nice relaxing outdoor walk, trail area. The actual nature center is only open on Saturdays. $5 honor system parking. Porta-pottys available.

The most scenic place to hike in Riverside. There is something about walking on grassy hills that makes you feel that you are a part of a Jane Austen novel. This place is gorgeous and serene. It was also very animal friendly located in horse country, we saw dogs and horses! Please visit this gem of a place!!

Nice, tranquil walk along the valley. There were several photo spots and benches to sit and relax. Perfect place to bring some food and have a picnic!

Miguel Hernandez | Aug 23, 2019
mitchell daudert | Aug 23, 2019

Yes but the county does require dogs to be on leads in the park.

Why is this public park only open three days? Is that due to covid? Will it change soon? Seems like we support all these public places but with no benefit. Other parks do not restrict people from using their facilities...

The wildlife area will close when there are unsafe conditions, like high winds. And like Mr. Miller said the paying the parking is important, that is how they are supported. So be sure to pay the fee in the red iron ranger, there is one is in every parking lot.
