Joyful Always

This is a cute little restaurant and I really was hoping the food was good (we were there on a rainy day and I was hoping to come back on a sunny day to sit on the cute patio), but the food is just marginal. We had breakfast and the food just didn’t have great flavor; the cheesy hash browns are more like a cheesy potato casserole and they weren’t good. I think the restaurant uses poor quality cheese. My husband has pepperjack on his omelet, but you couldn’t tell by the flavor. Lovely people though!!

Great food and the service was fantastic. We sat outside and watched the birds at the feeders while we enjoyed our lunch.

One of the best places to get a cake in the area. We got a simple marble sheet cake for an anniversary, and it was delicious. It was a great crowd pleaser. I wasn't sure what should be on the cake, so the lady taking my order offered some help in steering me the right direction. The staff are always friendly and the food is always delicious. I've never had a bad experience here.

I live in Union Grove, and I wanted to try this place out. Typically I go to Mulberries, because I live near there. I found that they're quite evenly matched. I found this place to be a little more adult oriented with the exception of the bakery, and a little more pricey. I will say the coffee is much better, and the specialty items seem to be on point. I'll be back. Wonderful place. Service was a little slow, but everything was very fresh and delicious.
