Place has so much potential but is terribly managed. No organization at all and safety risk left and right. Staff was nice but couldn't locate anything and many high dollar items hadn't had pricing updated so they will never sell. (Figures used selling for more than what they are new now). A solid managed with passion could make this a must stop location for geeky tourists.

I used to go to the original location as a kid...I loved comic books...I would put them in plastic and collect them. I never really looked at the older odd dudes around...I just figured, these dudes collect comic books and make money...maybe if I am lucky, I will find away to get Action Comics issue one from someone in an amazing trade...never happened...

Great shop. Wonderful manga selection. Very helpful staff. There is a nice selection of collectibles. The T-shirts are really nice and they have a great mix of genres. If you don't see what you are looking for, just ask. They probably have it.

Overpriced comics sleeves are ripped open alot of the books are damaged and they want 5-8$ for a damaged comic books. It's dirty in there and barely any light took the register girl almost 10 mins to give me my total (only 5 books) bad experience won't be back

They have a very small selection of Yu-Gi-Oh cards last time I was there--less than a Target would have.
They have a very wide variety however they are not organized very well so it will be a struggle to find it. I have seen issues 80 and 81 so im assuming they have what you are looking for.

I'd talk to the owners at the shop (unless Selwyn's an owner). I've known them to stock back issues that'd come from a purchased collection. I'd expect them to be selective in what they take, and I wouldn't expect to get what prices you might see on eBay or in price guides. Pulp Fiction in Culver City also buys; same advice applies!
