Office staff is friendly, understanding and accommodating. Maintenance staff is excellent and go above and beyond in responding to requests and doing so in a timely manner. The apartments are kept in great shape and lots of care is put into the property, the buildings and apartments by management. Best place in which I have ever lived.

Village in the park apartments. I lived here for 9 months, those nine months were great while living there. My apartment was nice I had a washer and dryer the beautiful and nicely done courtyard was updated with new flowers and plants.! My children love riding there scooters and bikes, or I would grill out and chill with friends. Teri and her team are great people I really trust her and the maintenance staff, the grounds keeper Allen. Everyone was nice, respectful, and did a good job on fixing any issues (those where far and very few if not any at all.) I feel the monthly rent is very fair and a lot is included heat, AC, water. The showers are nice and hot, the bathroom is simple and nice, the closets and bedrooms have a good layout. Kitchen is nice to. I had a personal painted wall. You get to choose the color mine was blue lol (no extra cost to you) If I have a chance to move back to Greendale I’m heading right back to VIP and to talk with Teri. The workers at VIP make it comfy, nice, positive and trusting place to live Thank you VIP PJS

I had moved to the area for my first job out of college, and the minute I drove up it felt warm and inviting. Progressing from the tour to looking at others around, it became an easy decision to live there. There is a courtyard in the center of the east side with where you can take a stroll and get lost in the nature feeling there. The staff are very courteous and are timely in requests and outside maintenance in every condition. My personal favorite is that the paths are always shoveled clean right after snowfall for everyone to walk through. Going the extra mile, they even plowed each stall clear so that residents do not have to worry about there not being enough or partially covered ones. Any request I had was responded back to me over the phone with a voicemail left. Any damages found by residents to the overall property outside or inside whether it be lights inside on the chandeliers or outside at the cute entrances or walking paths around or any other functional issues inside or outside were addressed. Terri appreciated receiving calls right away when they were made about any issues or questions residents had. You have to call to alert things for them to be fixed! Otherwise, there will be no reason to complain! The area of Greendale is very friendly and quite safe. Nature is all around with trees and a few streams. It is far enough from the city of Milwaukee where you can get away, but close enough where you can drive there on the I-94 to enjoy things when you want to. Other amenities I found quite nice were having coin operated laundry in each unit. Other units have built-in but cost a little more which will have to be discussed with the property manager when looking at a potential unit available. Water is included for no extra charge! Normal wear and tear including marks from furniture will not incur any new costs to residents after moving out. I had to move out after finding a new job on a moment's notice, and all that was needed was a notice to vacate- whether via a phone call to the clubhouse or email to the property manager. It was fairly painless and put me at ease when I did that. What are the remaining items a resident has to be responsible for before moving out are: having to pay your last month of cable used (if you have it) and electricity. The service is through We Energies and has budget billing at a very reasonable rate so that residents can use as unlimited! VIP will take care of the rest of the months of payment until a new tenant is found. Finding new tenants is a fairly quick process, and went found the property manager will call you so you won't have to pay the remainder of months' rent. While I was meeting with Terri to let her know I was moving out, she received two phone calls asking for apartment unit availability. That told me there is always demand for units of 1 or 2 bedroom apartments! There are two floors at each with a different colored door separating the two. I would strongly consider staying at VIP because the rent is very fairly priced, and at the end of any day you can feel relaxed and at peace after driving back from the daily commute. My mood physically changed as I entered the parking lot. It very well could be revealed could be the combination of the big trees and the church cemetery dividing the two sets of apartment complexes. The day I left moving away, I greatly missed it and that showed me I had quite the enjoyable experience while I stayed at a place that was superb and left memories for myself by taking pictures at the end.

Very decent place to live. The apartments are very basic yet have a good amount of space. They have a workout room available with all kinds of equipment. The negatives that I have is 1.) The storage units in the basement are too small especially when u have more than one person for an apartment. Hard to fit everything in it. 2.) The upkeep of the property in the winter season is terrible. A hired crew is supposed to do the upkeep and they do a terrible job. I have had to trudge through inches of snow even after a few hours after the snow fall, they don't salt the sidewalks very well. My pregnant wife, at the time, almost slipped and fallen on the icy sidewalks and parkinglot many times. 3.) Maintenance isn't the greatest either. One example is my wife and I had a leak in the roof by the solar light. I could tell the leak was on the roof yer the repair man on patched up the drywall. The leak still persisted and got worse. We called to have it fixed again and the repair man never showed up. We called again and still no help. Outside of that the apartment itself was a unique place to live.

Water and Hot water are incuded with all units. Heat is included in most, but there are a few units that have their own heating and air conditioning units that are not included in the rent. There is also a fitness center that is free to residents.
