Nice place to hike. Every 3rd Sunday of the month they open the New Hope Cave for free tours. You can give a donation. They sell souvenirs outside of the cave. The tours are well organized. And signs to get there are helpful. There are other caves that are always open that are fun to crawl through if you're brave enough. It's a beautiful place to spend time. Lots of families. There's fun areas to climb a little.

Very cool place - obviously well cared for! Bring knee pads and a flashlight - most of the caves are quite short. The biggest cave (over 1000' long) is only open on the third Saturday of the month.

If you come on the 3rd Sunday of the month tours are offered of the new hope cave. There is a bat colony here. Most of the caves have metal doors sealing them and the open one is a crawl. The park is very clean and has little vandalism as there are cameras. There is a main parking lot with 2 covered pavilions with picnic tables and bathrooms plus an overflow lot. The bluff trail is steep, uneven and narrow in spots. It would be very difficult to make it accessible. If you can do stairs and walk a couple blocks you can get a glimpse of the nicest formations by going down and back up the trail near the tartarus pavilion. The trail by the new hope pavilion leads directly to the ruins of a former hotel and spa where people used to stay to drink and dip in the magnesium rich spring water which you can drink further down the trail. You can see the hotel ruins from the road as well as the trail but, it is on private property so you can't get very close. Some say it's haunted but, it didn't give me that feeling. I was alone for most of my hike and enjoyed the serenity and beauty of the forest the most.

Great place to go for a hike, and bring a flashlight and knee pads as there are numerous caves to climb into and check out, and it seems like it gets better every year as the volunteers are making the caverns deeper and deeper every time I visit as well as there's a new pavilion from the last time I was there. Also I believe it's every 3rd Sunday of the month they have a tour of the main cave that's definitely worth checking out

Yes but there are a lot of stairs to the caves. Not so great for big dogs but little ones that you could carry on the stairs would do well. There are other paths, etc. that you can walk with a big dog
I would imagine you can have wedding here. They have events that are open to the public so I'm sure you can book out a section.
Yes
Website say the 3rd Sunday of the month from 10am-3pm, excluding work days.
The caves are open everyday, however, the bigger caves are often locked. There's no charge to visit. Wear good, shoes/boots, appropriate clothing, and bring a flashlight if you are going to explore. Dogs are permitted and there is a nice playground for the kids. Be safe and enjoy.
No pass needed love it there awesome an its freeeee
Tours are held every 3rd Sunday of the month, 10 am, to 3 pm. More info can be found at "Wisconsincaves.org" or "Maribelcaves.com"
