Hands down best campground I've been to. Extremely clean, and well managed campsites, in the primitive area. Extremely accommodating staff, had some issues on first booking and was able to fix it quickly. Very clean restroom and shower area. Lots of activities I've never seen at a campground, even had a movie night Friday night. Even though I didn't bring my dog this time major plus being pet friendly. Will definitely be back.

I stayed here with my kids and we had a great time. The campground is actually quite large and offers some decently spaced sites that don’t have you on top of others. Some of them were quite secluded and had a lot of tree cover. The campground being just a 5 minute drive from Devils Lake State park offers a great alternative to staying in the park when if can get pretty crowded. We’ll definitely be visiting again. Definitely a five star location as they continue to make improvements at the campground. It’s good to see them reinvesting in the place.

We had such a good experience staying in the cabins this weekend. Such a family friendly campground and was perfect for my two year old to run around and get her energy out. The cabins are nicely sized and it was convenient that the kitchen was fully stocked. A nice quiet area to be able to relax as well, and the other campers were very friendly. Will definitely return!

I camped here in late April 2022, right when the campground opened for the season. I was here to test some gear I had bought over the winter. I chose a site in the absolute farthest back of the campground as to not bother anyone, and to not be bothered. This turned out better than I expected. Most campgrounds will have someone going around later at night to make sure you have passes in your window of your vehicle and just to check on you. I am so happy to say that I was unbothered the entire time I was there! I was close to the "hole-in-the-ground" latrines and I was honestly shocked by these as well. They were stocked with about 5 rolls of toilet tissue in each stall. They were also clean and smelled of cleaning product which was a far cry from what I expected. The doors locked, lights worked, and it was bug free.(though not many bugs are out in late April in Wisconsin) I spoke with the owner on several occasion, before, during, and after booking and he was a great guy and very down to earth. You can tell he is dedicated to improving the campground after previous owners ran it into the ground a couple years ago. If you stayed here 3 or more years ago, I highly suggest going back, this place is a hidden gem. Especially if you want to get away from the crowded noisy guests at Devils Lake Campground.
