I was referred here by a friend and while some of the other reviews I read before coming were less than stellar I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. I brought 30 cornish cross meatbirds from our farm to test the waters. I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with the owner and learning that this business is a true American business success story having been family owned and operated for three generations. They are big enough to have good equipment and enough staff to very efficiently process my birds real time and have a set-up that mimics the efficiency of a McDonald's drive through. I arrived a bit later that I had anticipated so when I got there I was surprised to join a line of vehicles and other trucks with livestock trailers. Not knowing what to expect I thought I would be waiting for hours, but to my surprise even though some livestock trailers had 2-3 as many birds as I did the line moved fairly quick and before I knew it, I was backing my trailer up to the cones to unload. I think its important to note that the chickens are dispatched as you pass them off to the team so If this is something that bothers you, maybe call ahead or explore other options. I personally appreciate the transparency and liken it to counter service at a diner where I can watch the cook grill my burger and plate my meal. If you want giblets, liver, heart gizzards or feet you need to let them know as you unload and while this does cost a little extra, their rates are more than reasonable. All in all including ice my birds cost just over $150 to process and this is something that would have taken me the entirety of a very long day to do at the farm by myself with my inadequate equipment. I felt that the staff were professional, that the quality was great and I booked a date for my next run of 75 birds before I left. I am also getting on the list for Turkeys in November to gift to my employees as I did not raise any myself this year.

Took our birds here two years in a row. 1st time meat was bruised, and breast was cut. Tried again the next year. We had wings missing, bruised meat, breast cut, and some inside still in the birds.

The young guy culling my chickens would literally try to throw them into the plucker from 8 ft away. After my 24 chickens were processed, 12 were missing wings. I'll never go back!
