Update 2: got a call back from the manager after escalating through USPS HQ. She told me issue would be resolved first thing in the morning. 24 hours later and it still isn’t? Either this is the most incompetent post office in the country or the Postal Service is gaslighting me??? Update: this happened for a 5th time. Still no one answers the phone. USPS HQ customer service was helpful at answering and getting a message to them, hopefully that + the escalated complaint to the district level helps improve things but I’m not holding my breath. Easily the worst post office that has ever served(?) my neighborhood. Decent at delivering the mail, I guess, but pretty bad at everything else related to being a post office. 4 times I have requested a delivery hold while out of town, only for them to continue delivering mail and packages, which inevitably get stolen. When I call to remind them that there’s a delivery hold, no one answers the phone, which is seemingly a common problem here. When visiting in person expect a long wait and impatient staff. If you have any choice when you need something done at a post office, go to the one in the Presidio (limited hours) or literally any other post office.

There are 4 service desks. On a Saturday afternoon with scheduled passport renewals taking priority, there is only 1 person working. This is the absolute worst service and perfectly illustrates why USPS operated with a net loss of $9.2 Billion in 2020. Their service is trash.

I did not have a great USPS experience at this location. Kim was not a people person and did not have great communication skills. Please, train her properly. I am sure she can learn more and get better! She needs to calm down and talk slowly. She must realize that she is dealing with customers and treat them properly if she is in the front desk!!!

I had an awful experience with this post office. I came here to buy stamps. I used the self service machine to be "quick". I purchased 7 stamps but got only 3. So I went to the clerk to get my missing stamps and inform them their machine was broken. The clerk was new and didn't know what to do. He asked his colleague and she was just mean and rude to him in front of customers and yelled that he couldn't give me missing stamps without approval. Eventually, they looked for their supervisor and eventually figured out that he may be on lunch break and didn't know when he would come back. Anyways, I couldn't afford to wait so had to purchase my missing stamps because their machine was broken.
