This is a great upmarket spot for dinner or lunch. Cosy and comfortable decor in a convenient location. I had lunch with a group of friends. We were seated in a timely manner and our server was discreet but attentive to our needs. The fried cob salad with corn was delicious.

What a great locally owned neighborhood gem! New South supports so many local farmers as you will see on the huge chalkboard when you walk in. They are truly a farm to table restaurant. Friendly staff and delicious food every single time. One of my favorite places in Charlotte!

The staff here is nice, restaurant is quiet and the food is really good. Honestly, one of my coworkers chose this restaurant for a work related dinner and looking at the menu I was not very interested in anything. I was pleasantly surprised that just about everything we had at dinner was very delicious. The baked pimento cheese dip, the grits and the blueberry pie dessert were my favorites! Also, the drinks were good and well worth the money. I will definitely visit this restaurant again!
