I do not understand this trend of chains hiring heavily armed security guards. I guess the punishment for shoplifting these days is getting shot. Just contributes to the open-air prison vibe Portland is going for these days, I guess.

The store was great and selection was great My main and only problem was the cashier named Kissiah. She was so disrespectful and rude to my mom and I. For example: -She blatantly ignored us and did not greet us or acknowledge us in any way. -She ripped the clothes off of the hangers aggressively instead of gently separating the hangers from the clothes. -She threw the clothes in the bag like she was angry with us instead of attempting to fold them. -When she handed me the bag I said thanks and she looked me up and down and ignored me. -Lastly, my mom asked for the receipt and the cashier just dangled the receipt above the register while talking with the other cashier next to her. I had to reach behind the counter to grab it. Normally I wouldn't care enough to write a review but this was just beyond rude. My mom and I left just baffled at how we were just treated. I know times are hard, and everyone has a lot going on but this was just awful. Hopefully this review is seen by the right people and they can train her to be a little more pleasant.

This place is a glorified, overpriced Marshall's (before their revamp/rebranding a few years ago). There are WAY too many clothes shoes and accessories packed in here. So hard to find what you're looking for because items are not only packed but unorganized. The lines are crazy. What happened to being able to check out with anyone wearing a green shirt? Reluctant to visit any time in the future.

I venture to all the Nordstrom Racks but at this one I usually don't find anything. However, my last trip I did see they had a decent selection of men's shoes for once. Pumas $50. I looked for baby clothes but the selection was very sparse. I wanted some Jean Paul cologne and they had NONE. I do like the Rack but the drivers out at this location are aggressive in the parking lot. Staff is friendly, the say hi to my 9 month old son, my wife finds makeup, overall a very decent location.
