Nice place with a lot of trails from easy to hard. We had limited time so only did a small walk along the dam and along the lake. There is a nature area with animals such as deer, gray wolves, and a variety of raptors.

Went here for a Friday hike with my husband, easy to moderate trails. The wolves were feeding which was kind of cool. Free for veterans.

I really like this park. It costs $5 to go in and park. This park is very dogfriendly where visitors with 4 legged kids still can go into the building to see the exhibits and shop at the gift store. The employee at the gate and ine in the gift shop were very nice and informative. They just celebated their 50th year anniversary. We hiked the trail started from the gift shop and away from the dam, which was paved, then turned tight onto the trail that goes through the woods. The trail map will guide you through the system. I use the MapMyWalk app, and the trail system is available as you hike. It is very helpful in giving me an idea where I am, how far I hiked and allowed me to determine my route. There are clear signs marking where dogs are not allowed to enter. We hiked about 2.5 miles. I would come back here again if I'm in the area.

The planetarium was phenomenal. It was such an amazing and exciting experience. The gift shop and the museum were also a lot of fun and very informative. Viewing the animals was also quite exciting. However, I was a bit disappointed that they had quite a few things shut down. The otter exhibit looked like it hadn't been open in a while. Our visit also included a walk on the Dam and a short little hike there just off of it. I definitely plan on going back very soon to do some more trails.
