I'm giving it 4 stars because it's very cheap and they let me get a room at 9pm with my 2 little kids while some places would over charge for the convenience. The guy was very nice. The room wasn't charming, it was dark and gloomy. I would have bet money it was haunted just by the feel of it. It was fine for a few hours of sleep.

Very clean place. NO BED BUGS!!! Owner was the sweetest thing the bad reviews on here are the trashy waitresses who work a across the street. Our heat was out in our truck and he made sure our room was warm before he checked us in. Even let us smoke in a non smoking room because it was so cold outside. Old fashioned warm atmosphere i deffinetly will be back and soon. Very hot shower and bath to soak your tired bones in. Cable tv. Thank you for the great hospitality you showed me and my husband.

So quiet. The decore is dated, but the price is awesome. The owner is one of the nicest owners I've ever run into. I didn't find any bugs anywhere, but there is dust. If I'm ever in the area again, I will return here.

Yes, it's old, yes it's not the most updated, but if you stop you know you're going for a total budget, sleep-only stay. At least the room I had was clean, no bugs, working TV, working air, strong/hot shower, guy nice enough at the front desk. This was the only hotel with a couple hours' drive with an open room because it's not listed on the online sites. Served its purpose.
