My son Lucian started this class with the 6 week trial to teach him self defense, respect, and give him a great routine. At first he was not excited about it, but as classes came and passed he Began to love it and now he is having a blast with it! He is so happy that he is a full time student now! Thank you for the positive place you provide for children and adults. I highly recommend Keizer ATA if you are looking for a great martial arts place to enroll.

My 5 year old son started out on the 6 class trial which was a great deal. He ended up loving it so much it was a no brainer for him to become an official member. This academy does such a great job of supporting you as a parent and giving you resources to help motivate or inspire your kids at home. I would recommend ATA Martial Arts Keizer to anyone of any age.

Our son joined about 4 months ago, and it has been his very first extra-curricular/sport activity that he's ever participated in, and I must say that it has been a wonderful experience! David is fully interested, invested, improving and making great strides in the forms and learning discipline. His favorite weapon so far is the Nun-chucks(?)that were actually gifted to him for his birthday by the school! The staff go above and beyond for their kids, and are actually here to support the parents as well. I hope if you're looking into something for your children, check out Keizer ATA, Master Clewes and his amazing staff, you definitely won't regret it!

I train at Keizer ATA with my kids. We drive from South Salem multiple times a week because, once we started, we couldn’t think of training anywhere else. I had never been around martial arts training before, although my husband grew up in Taekwondo. From the first class I was pleasantly surprised. The changes I have seen in my kids and myself are impressive. My son started at 6 years old and he was a wild bundle of uncontrollable wiggles. We homeschool, so days full of that were sometimes a lot to handle. Almost immediately after starting at Keizer ATA, I noticed his ability to focus on schoolwork jumped drastically. He could focus for longer and with less struggle. His progress was remarkable. Truly life-changing for all of us. I love that the instruction here is not just in combat, but how to have self-discipline, moral character, and confidence in yourself and your abilities. Even something as simple as learning how to accept correction with gratitude has been really significant around our house. Also worth mentioning is that a large dose of humor is woven in with all of the self discipline. It makes classes really fun and they go by quickly. It’s awesome stress relief for parents to train this way. No room for distractions. You have to clear your mind and focus on each instruction and your form. If you have more than one child enrolled you get to train with them for free. It’s the workout you won’t skip. If you’re contemplating trying it out and you want a safe, fun and challenging atmosphere... just do it. You won’t regret it.

Hi. I used to study Tae Kwon Do karate years ago before I became disabled and I was wondering if it would be possible to come down and watch adult practice? I miss karate. Im 68. I live on Greenwood Apts. behind Pizza Hut. Thanks, Mary Riversong.
