Today was my first visit with Adriana. She welcomed me and made me feel comfortable in her beautiful studio. It is immaculate. She is close to my neighborhood which is an added bonus. I am very pleased with my results. I am delighted to recommend her. She gave a courtesy reminder text with perfect directions to the studio. I am looking forward to my next visit.

Adriana is very thorough, and pleasant company. This is the best Brazilian wax I've had -- flawlessly smooth. (I've been to plenty of other waxers over the years, with varying results.) Adriana is very skilled, and clearly comfortable with the job. Bonus: My partner was super impressed with the result 😉

Adriana is amazing! I went in for my first ever Brazilian wax and I was a little nervous going into it but Adriana made me feel really comfortable. She was super friendly and welcoming and made the whole experience a breeze. She was very informative about aftercare, things to expect, and the process of the wax itself. She was fun to talk to and any nerves I felt were gone as soon as we started. Thank you for making this a great first experience! I will most definitely be coming back and would recommend to anyone looking for waxing services! :)

Hi there, sorry, I cannot travel to your residence.
Threading and waxing have both been around for ages and they are simply two different methods to achieve the same result. I prefer waxing because the hair removal process is super fast, which limits the amount of time the client feels that bit of pain from the hair coming out. Threading has been reported to be a little more painful, as it feels like each individual hair is being pulled out in succession. I do send clients to get threaded if they are on certain medications such as Accutane or retinols which make skin temporarily too delicate to be waxed. In the past, folks have worried that waxing could damage or burn their skin. These concerns are no longer relevant, as there are new hard waxes (lower temperature wax) that are incredibly gentle and almost pain free. If you have a healthy epidermis (not on the above medications,) you will have a great result.
Most bikini wax first timers are really nervous. They've heard and seen horror stories from friends and from tv shows and movies. And I can tell you, 100% of the time, when it's over, first timers say it was nowhere near as painful as they thought it would be. The wax technology and techniques are so great these days, bikini and Brazilian waxes are no big deal. The most important thing to do to prepare for your first wax is to grow your hair out as long as possible, for at least 3 weeks since your last shave. The more hair we have to work with the better the results will be. If you are very nervous about the pain you are welcome to take 2 Advil 20 minutes before your service. A typical bikini wax takes about 15-20 minutes and a Brazilian takes about 30 minutes. After the wax you might be a little tender for 24 hours or so but nothing that will inhibit your ability to live your normal life.
For your very first bikini wax, assuming you have let your hair grow out the recommended 3 weeks before waxing, you can expect your results to last about 2-4 weeks before you see substantial re- growth and, of course, that varies by individual. But! The awesome thing about waxing is that the more times you wax, the longer your results will last and the hair will grow back sparser and softer each time. Of course, to get these great, sparse, long lasting results you need to commit to not shaving in-between waxes. Ideally, you will get a a schedule where you will get waxed, have 2 weeks of being smooth and hair free, then have 2 weeks of grow-in, and you will come back to get waxed again at the 4 week mark. Over time you could get waxed, have 2 or 3 or 4 weeks of being smooth and hair free, have your 2 or so weeks of grow-in, and come back to get waxed at the 5 or 6 week mark. The longer you keep at it the longer your results will last!
Hi, Great question! As with any waxing, you want to grow out your leg hair for at least 3 weeks before you wax. This ensures the smoothest, longest lasting result possible. But here's the thing about leg waxing: It probably won't feel smooth to the touch the first 2 or 3 times you wax. It may look smooth but it probably won't feel smooth. This is because you will have what we call 'second growth,' which is a different hair cycle that has just pushed through the skin. That second growth won't be long enough for the wax to grab until you wax 3 or 4 times and get all those hairs growing on the same cycle. So, unless you haven't shaved for a really long time (like months and months) or unless you are a person with very soft, fine hairs to begin with, your first few leg waxes will look smooth but not necessarily feel smooth. But once you get through those first few waxes it's totally worth it! You will have legs that will be smooth and gorgeous for weeks and weeks!
