Visited Huntwood in-person three times. The last time we met with a salesman, provided details/measurements of our new kitchen layout, and picked the Huntwood cabinets we were interested in. Salesman told us to expect two weeks before we could get a quote. That was six weeks ago. Also sent an email with no response. Reading other reviews, this seems to be a trend. Decided on another company that was attentive. Thankfully there are many others to choose from.

Went there to get some hardwood since they have some leftovers that they sale, got a piece of hardwood that was 28”x2.5”, took me back didn’t know the price and took literally 20 minutes to make the transaction, but they charged me $32 for that tiny piece of wood. I didn’t know better but I messed the wood up and had to get another, I wasn’t about to go back and a friend told me about Windsor Plywood in town. A bigger piece was $5 there! If that’s how they do business with little pieces I’d hate to see how they do with cabinets.

I would not recommend Huntwood cabinets to anyone. We have had nothing but issues with this product. We purchased a home from Hayden Home with Huntwood Cabinets installed. Within a few months the cabinet above the refrigerator was coming off of the wall and breaking apart. Thankfully we were still within our 1 year warranty period with Hayden Homes and that issue was fixed. A few months later the drawer tracks broke in the a drawer that is least used in our kitchen. This should be an easy fix for someone who is working with cabinets all day long, but we are told that this is not covered under warranty. There would have been an extended 1 year warranty on this cabinets if I went and registered the warranty within 60 days of the cabinet order being shipped to Hayden Homes, however we didn't even own this house within 60 days of this order, so I wouldn't have any knowledge of having to do this and simply could not register this warranty within 60 days. I am not sure how this process is even legal for the Huntwood cabinets. Basically if the order is placed by the construction company the buyer of the home looses the change to have extended warranty on the cabinets.

During the final walkthrough of a new home in North Spokane, it was noted that the cabinetry installed throughout the house had uneven handles and incorrect panel alignments. This was very frustrating as being in the professional service industry, quality assurance and continued inspections are paramount to the closure of any project. Bringing this to the attention of our builder, they forwarded my contact information to Dan Anderson, Field Service Manager, who quickly reached out to me and came the next day to conduct a thorough inspection. After going throughout the house in detail, Dan assured me someone from his team would contact me shortly and send one of their ‘top technicians to fix everything above and beyond.’ Playing the part of the pessimist, I would wait and see to see what materialized as you could imagined I was pretty irate over the product at its current state. Two days later, Kevin (I did not catch his last name - field technician) came to the property at precisely the agreed upon time and got straight to work. Kevin went through every single inch of cabinetry with a hawk’s eye precision and caught every single mistake, even some I could not even tell what was incorrect prior. For eight hours, Kevin grinded out everything to perfection. During the repair work he was an absolute professional, very easy to talk to, and even explained the errors from prior installation and how he was correcting everything. Kevin is an absolute rockstar and is top tier at his craft; it really showed. Once completed, the entire cabinetry now looks completely different and is the show piece of the home. Huntwood Cabinets already make a superior product. There is no direct competitor in terms of quality in the Inland Northwest. However, meticulous installation is another half of the delivery and key to the final product. So biggest thank you and recognition to George Dunbar, Dan Anderson, Pam, and Kevin (field technician) for quickly correcting everything and going above and beyond. That type of coordinated customer service is something so many companies lack these days so to see it firsthand is amazing. They truly won a customer for life.
