Let me tell you about my experience with Bux Bear Storage. First off they were extremely helpful upon moving from out of state back in October and had our unit ready to go when we arrived, locks and all. It made moving so much easier. Then today (8/13/2022) Loraine was so so helpful when making my monthly payment. Also she was able to provide me with some helpful information for a possible downsize within the property. She is a true blessing and great employee!

Office lady is great! New owners are from California! And as a local from CDA and had a unit for 5 years they came in and changed EVERYTHING! Prices went up. Use to have a grace period, you don't now. The off lady is amazing!! But the new owner raising the prices and changing everything is the same problem we are having here in Coeur d Alene!! Don't recommend renting here! Plus more issues with the doors..

We’ve had a storage unit for over a year at Bux Bear. It started out well, as we felt secure about leaving our stuff there. Then they made a substantial rental increase- which would be fine (business is business), if it hadn’t turned into a homeless camp! Yes, there is at least one person living in an RV that looks like the Clampets. It’s parked behind the gate, where they have access to every single storage unit. My teenage son frequents our unit to get our business equipment in and out, and he just told me there is a man living in the unit next to ours now! We’ve already sent an email regarding the Clampets that was never answered. My son called the lady who is in the office every day, and informed her but as of now, they are both still there. It’s hard to believe that she doesn’t know what’s going on since she is there all the time. If there was anywhere else with open units, we would move. I am looking into contacting the proper authorities who will address this since the management clearly won’t! If you have any other option, don’t rent here! UPDATE- BELOW YOU WILL SEE A RESPONSE THAT SAYS THAT “THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN RESOLVED”. IT HAS NOT!!!! Our unit now reeks of smoke and the homeless guy is still camping there. I have a photo from this morning. He has solar panels set up for electricity etc! This is blatantly illegal, and everyone who rents there is at risk because of this! We WILL be taking further action!

Everything was great. I stored things with them for a year and a half, eventually using two different storage units. The price was as listed online (cheaper than almost every other place), the security was more than adequate, and the staff was always very helpful. There was more than enough room to maneuver a large truck in and out, as well. Adriana (I think) was especially helpful when moving out, cutting off a lock that had malfunctioned without any extra cost. This is the best experience I've had with longterm storage.
